‘Generational Player’ is a term coined for a player that has consistently dominated the era of their sport, changed the fortunes of their club and individually reaches the pinnacle. These types of players want to perform at their best, have a strong commitment to their performance, to their team and to their club, are attentive to improvement and have an unwavering confidence in their abilities, are resilient and most importantly, they are humble.

Although she will cringe at this, Rebecca Morabito is a generational player. Consider this, Rebecca’s achievements at Melton Centrals include;

  • 2 x Premiership Player (2009, 2014)
  • 5 x Club Best & Fairest (2009, 2011, 2014, 2016, 2017)
  • Co-Captain of A Grade in 2017, 2018
  • 3 x Ryan Medallist B&F of the RDFNL (2009, 2011, 2017)
